The Purple Dress Challenge

As part of our March runway presentation, FNO partnered with Southern Westchester BOCES to spotlight the next generation of creative talent through The Purple Dress Challenge.

Students were invited to create original runway designs using the same purple fabric, transforming a shared starting point into powerful expressions of individuality, artistry, and vision. Their work debuted on the FNO runway during Women’s Month in front of a live audience of fashion lovers, creatives, and community supporters.

The initiative served as both a celebration of emerging designers and a reflection of FNO’s commitment to mentorship, creative opportunity, and community engagement.
